We bring creativity, comfort and hope

Creativity Kits provide brand-new art supplies and online creative activities that help children experiencing illness, trauma, and major life transitions discover moments of joy, confidence, and hope.

Who We Are

The Heritage Arts Foundation provides Creativity Kits to children and teens facing difficult life circumstances. Through creativity, self-expression, and hands-on activities, our kits offer moments of calm, comfort, and connection when they are needed most.
Whether a child is facing illness, grief, family challenges, displacement, or other hardships, we believe creativity can be a meaningful source of hope and resilience.
AT HERITAGE ARTS FOUNDATION, EVERY CHILD DESERVES THE OPPORTUNITY TO CREATE.

Creativity Kits help bring comfort, joy, and a sense of normalcy during hospital stays and major life transitions. Each kit includes access to online tutorials and resources to extend the hours of art supply usage and inspire creativity long after the hospital visit.

Kits are filled with brand new art supplies delivered in a canvas bag for maximum reusable hours—any place, any time.

There are many opportunities to get involved and create occasions for groups of volunteers to help make kits, church and youth groups, corporate giving programs, and more.

The World Health Organization states:

"The creation and enjoyment of the arts helps promote holistic wellness and can be a motivating factor in recovery."
and
"Engagement in the art helps people process difficult emotions, navigate challenging life events, and improve overall well-being and resilience."
